I began painting in 1994 while recovering from a serious bicycle accident in Chicago, Illinois. As a self-taught artist, I find creative material among the people and places I observe and interact with throughout my social and professional lives.
My contribution to the Art 360 Project was creating using oil paint applied mostly with a palette knife but also some brushwork. The piece took approximately six weeks to complete because of the thickness of the paint and the unusual surface and shape of the egg as a painting surface.
